One of the things I really love to do is create beautiful portraits of children. As a photographer, these sessions can be some of the most challenging and yet often the most rewarding once you are able to view the final images. We know its challenging dragging the kids around, shopping for what to wear, getting your hair done and then dealing with the inevitable grumpy day or possible melt down. Hey, its kids, it happens… we plan for it, we expect it. But it’s not a good reason to put it off. Often by the time we have spent some time in the studio just relaxing most everyone is starting to calm down and get comfy, thats usually when the magic starts to happen.
Now with this portrait session, luckily that was not the case this time. These gorgeous girls were pure sunshine from the minute they walked in. We had a great photography session and their personalities really had a chance to shine through. These are fantastic sisters and they truly love each other which is just so adorable. For this portrait session we opted for a more stylized artistic shoot. I had created a flowered wall back drop and the idea was for more of a white on white feel with a pop of color. Something a little classic and timeless to be displayed as art.
I hope you enjoy the images below as much as I did creating them.
